Funda Eryiğit Will Star In The New Turkish Series Entitled Son Yaz (The Last Summer)

Successful actress Funda Eryiğit tell her new role in the new Turkish series in 2021 season. She will follow a very different story in the term of how relationships work in the scenario.

Funda Eryiğit, one of the lead actors of "The Last Summer", produced by O3 Medya, produced by Saner Ayar, with Burak Arlıel in the director's chair and written by Deniz Dargı, Cem Görgeç and Cenk Boğatur, told about her role and her new project.

Son Yaz (The Last Summer) Plot Story

As an idealistic, plucking young girl, Funda Eryiğit, who gave life to the character of Canan, a woman whose life changed when she married Selim (Ali Atay) at university, was most affected by the change of character. 

She says the audience will appreciate that her husband Selim is not around, that after many years of dedicating herself to her home and children, she will decide to divorce and dare to do her job and go outside the safe space she has established. She also states that re-meeting her husband and building a real relationship with the breakup process will be one of her most powerful emotional adventures in the story.

When Funda Eryiğit reads the script, the most influential reason for saying yes and the difference of "Son Yaz (The Last Summer)" is that the beautiful actress says: "The connection of the world of mafia, action men to a family story has affected the conflicts between these two worlds, creating transformations and awareness in characters rather than major tragedies. It processes family ties outside of what we're used to. 

The beginning of the story in the summer can create a refreshing feeling in the audience during these troubled days. Other than that, we're going to see a relationship that begins with a divorce. Canan and Selim, who have been married for a long time but can't really be together, are able to really relate, start listening to each other, break up. In this sense, we will see a different relationship than we have seen before."
