The master who plays the character of Filiz in Show TV's new series "Sandık Kokusu", produced by O3 Media, written by Melis Civelek and Zeynep Gür, creative consultant by Zeynep Günay, and directed by Nezaket Coşkun. Actress Demet Akbağ talked about her new project. Akbağ, who said that she loved Filiz as soon as she read the script, summarized her role and the most attractive aspects of the story as follows;

“Filiz is a woman who has never lost her life energy despite the trauma of the unimaginable blow she received in her marriage. She is well-groomed, fancy, and has a charming and sweet side with the care she takes towards herself. But at the same time, as you watch, the audience will see that there is an emotional, fragile woman inside who is still suffering from the pain of trauma... She states that they worked closely on the character with Melis Civelek, Zeynep Gür, Nezaket Coşkun and Zeynep Günay during the preparation and shooting process, and that they especially built Filiz's appearance, look and body language by mutual conversation.

Demet Akbağ said, "I loved Filiz very much, I hope the audience will too," and emphasized what to expect from the audience in the series as follows; “The Smell of the Chest is a story from life, the audience will be faced with a sincere and real scenario. As real as life itself..."

Sandık Kokusu Episode 1 Summary

Karsu has just given birth to her third child, and her mother Filiz came to help her. While Filiz takes Karsu's son Kuzey to Istanbul to give her daughter some peace of mind, an unfortunate incident occurs and Kuzey disappears. While Kuzey's disappearance ruins Karsu's life, Karsu and Filiz leave, never to see each other again.
